The Herald-Leader’s Newspaper in Education program, a non-profit 501c(3), has been working with Kentucky teachers for more than 22 years. NIE is proud to be able to offer Kentucky teachers high quality curriculum and professional development. Our training is hands-on to demonstrate to teachers how to integrate the daily news into their subject areas.
NIE is a high quality educational program thanks to Kentucky businesses dedicated to sponsoring the program year after year.
Using the daily news in the classroom, in a paper and/or eEDITION format, helps students remember tomorrow what teachers teach them today.
