Chances are, when you go to the mall, you buy something. Cash or charge? However you
pay for stuff at the mall, you need money. And the more stuff you want, the better you
should become at budgeting and saving your money. Budgeting is making choices that
match your spending goals with your income. Saving is holding on to some of your money so you can use it in the future.
How do you make your spending money?
Look in the Herald-Leader’s classifi ed ads for ways to make money. Check out the employment ads and write down ideas for jobs you could do. Next, look at merchandise
classifieds and write down items that you own and could sell. How much could you earn? How would you use this money?
